The design comes from Jacques Chassaing, who was also significantly involved in the adidas ZX series. For example, the Forum features the same heel stabilizer as the adidas ZX 500. The models name comes from the hall where the Olympic basketball tournament was held, the "Forum" in Los Angeles. NBA legends like Michael Jordan or Patrick Ewing wore the model before they got their own signature models.

After adidas had already revived a legendary basketball sneaker with the Rivalry, the Forum followed in 2020. Since then, it's hard to imagine adidas sneakers without the Forum. The upper of the model is made entirely of leather and there are several variants of the classic sneaker. The adidas Forum 84 High is a classic high-top basketball sneaker with a high upper and a "criss cross" Velcro strap that provides more stability. The Forum Mid has a less high upper and the strap sits slightly lower. The adidas Forum Low is the most popular version off all. It also has a strap above the tongue, but it is removable thanks to Velcro, giving the model an even cleaner look. The designer Jeremy Scott, has put his own stamp on the adidas Forum. His "Forum Money" or the "Wings" versions of the adidas Forum have caused quite a stir years ago. Currently there are again Jeremy Scott x adidas Forum models in our onlineshop .

The Forum Low is also available as an exclusive adidas sneaker for women. In addition to the general version, there is also a version of the sneaker with a platform sole. The adidas Wmns Triple Platforum Low has a three-part midsole, which lifts the model to new heights.
