"Pura" is the Japanese word for plastic and "ai" means love. Plastic does not have the best reputation, but Puraai wants to prove how versatile and durable this material is. The Japanese character ラ mentioned at the beginning is also the brand logo that adorns the side of every Puraai sneaker. The Puraai Polly is inspired by the 70s vintage style. The upper material of the Puraai Polly is extremely versatile. From mesh and nylon to vegan leather and faux suede leather, there are many design options. Puraai is a completely vegan brand and is PETA-certified. This means that suppliers and manufacturers guarantee that no animal products are used in the production of the sneakers. Puraai sneakers are handmade in Italy using unique methods. With production in Europe under fair conditions, the high quality and durability of the products, the slightly higher price is justified.
