Berlin Takeover with Nike Air Max Plus

The sneakers of the Air Max series are always welcome at Team Overkill. One of the most popular models from this series is without question the Nike Air Max Plus, often referred to as Shark Nikes or TN's.

It was clear that for the release of the latest model called "Light Photography", we also wanted to host a special release. Together with our friends from Nike, we celebrated the Berlin Takeover by Overkill.

On a beautiful and sunny Thursday afternoon, the winners of our giveaway, our friends and family, and our team met at our store. There we boarded a double-decker sightseeing bus, which was completely decorated in the Nike TN design. Each guest was presented with a specially branded goodie bag. Inside was, a limited-edition Overkill x Nike Berlin Take Over T-shirt, stickers, as well as drink tokens for the highest bar in Berlin. The popular seats on the upper convertible deck were occupied in no time and with a few cool drinks, started the small city tour past the most important and beautiful sights of Berlin.

Once a tourist in your own city to be, is something special! After an hour's ride, we arrived at the actual destination, the largest sight in Berlin, the TV Tower. Even for the older Overkillers who have been around for a while, the Berlin TV Tower was something very special as an event location. At the lofty height of 207 meters, our guests had a fabulous panoramic view of the city and the setting sun was the most popular motif that evening. The entire viewing floor was reserved for our event and one could take a 360-degree tour.

The Nike Air Max Plus "Light Photography" was highlighted with groovy showcases and the bar was constantly well-attended. In addition to our Overkill Soundsystem DJ JNS, the Local Juice Soundsystem also provided thick beats that animated to dance. After the sun disappeared behind the horizon and the lights made the city sparkle, this evening slowly came to an end. It will definitely not be forgotten so quickly and we thank all guests for this special event.
